Magic Tape

“I think you can call the idea of Post-it® Notes God sent,” jests Loretizo. It was during a choir practice at church that Art Fry, Post-it® Notes inventor, came up with the idea of making a “better bookmark” using an adhesive developed by his friend Spencer Silver. At first he just wanted his hymnbook pages not to be all over the place, but when he used these “bookmarks” to write messages to his boss it was then that the idea stuck that it wasn’t a bookmark at all but a note.

“Now when you see a Post-it® Note with the deadline for your school paper written on it, serving as a constant reminder for you not to miss that deadline, I think you can still say that these notes are God sent,” says Loretizo.
